Before you meet with a floral designer take some time to think about the design, or look, of your wedding flowers. Do you like wild and romantic or simple and traditional flowers? Make a list of descriptive words and what they mean to you. Share your list with prospective floral designers. It will really help them see your vision.

Here is a list to get you started:

Naturally Wild- Loose and textural, floral designs using seasonally available flowers.

Romantically Inclined- Floral designs using old fashioned, blowzy and ruffled blooms.

Fashionably Funky- Bright, graphic and interesting blooms designed with non-floral elements (wire, colored glass beads).

Tasteful and Traditional- simply designed flowers in light and blended color palettes.
