Valentine's Day flowers in Sacramento, CA

Flowers at Valentine's day are the classic gift choice. But what are the best flowers to give? Here are some fabulous ways to give your loved one an unforgettable floral gift:

Roses are the traditional Valentine floral gift. A dozen roses are usually arranged by a florist in a green vase with fern and baby's breath. Yawn... Ask the florist to spice up the rose's classic message of love by arranging them in a clear cylinder vase with gorgeous blooming quince branches, elegant bear grass, fresh and fragrant wax flower and dark green Italian ruscus. Sigh...I am about to swoon.

Parrot tulips are stunningly modern and at the same time romantically old fashioned. Made famous in the abundant paintings by the Dutch masters, tulips are a sure to amaze and impress even the most jaded Valentine. Ask your florist to arrange these long stemmed beauties simply in a clear glass vessel to make the most of their good looks.

Or you can call your favorite florist in Sacramento and ask the floral designer to choose the most fresh, wonderful and awe inspiring flowers they have in the shop. Designer's choice is a great way to get the most passionate flowers for your sweetheart.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Wedding Graffiti

How fun is this idea?
From the Wonderful Graffiti's website:

Wonderful Graffiti is very thin pieces of matte vinyl that look "printed" when applied to most smooth surfaces.Your entire wedding Graffiti design arrives on one sheet of transfer paper. Just tape the transfer paper into place, burnish it down and peel it away. Only the individual letters and graphic elements remain. Wonderful Graffiti removes quickly, and won't harm underlying surfaces.

L-O-V-E this idea! I can think of a million ways to use this at a wedding. Plus what a great way to make the reception site your very own.

Here kitty....

If you expand this picture you can see a very special member of the bridal party.
This charming little cat lives at The Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg, CA. She was hanging out with us while we set up the ceremony flowers.
I love how this picture captures the kitty, in typical feline fashion, prancing through the ceremony without a care in the world.

Thanks to Allison Stahl for the wonderful image.

Cute as a pocket full of buttons!

This group of flower girls just made me smile!

Isn't the green and chocolate brown color combination fabulous? It was fun to design the floral tiaras and orchid pomanders for these little princesses.

Thanks to photographer Melanie Mages for sending me the pictures from the gorgeous Angiano/Valle wedding.
